shift pattern which includes weekend working – pattern available upon request)

Working
as a Police Staff Investigator within Cleveland Police you will support the
Force’s crime investigation teams working on volume, major & complex crimes
and will play a significant part in protecting the public of
Cleveland.
We
are seeking conscientious, dedicated and inquiring individuals to ensure a
professional investigative and supportive service is delivered to the
community.
Duties
will include interviewing witnesses and complainants using the PEACE/PACE
interview methods and producing accurate written statements in a form suitable
for use as evidence in court proceedings.
The
successful candidate will have excellent problem solving, communication and
decision making skills. PIP Level 2 accreditation or the recognised equivalent
is essential to the role.
The
role requires the selected individual to work a shift pattern between the hours
of Monday to Sunday from 0800 to 1800, actual shifts will be determined upon
appointment.
Flexibility
will be essential due to the nature and demands of this role. You should expect
on occasion to work beyond your normal scheduled working hours and also to
travel around the force areas and beyond.
