The Scientific Support Unit is looking for an innovative, organised and motivated individual to join our Quality Management Team as a Digital Forensic Configuration Co-ordinator.


The purpose of the role is to ensure that processes required for the Quality Management System (QMS) for Cleveland Police are established, implemented and maintained in adherence with quality standards for Digital Forensics, such as ISO 17025, ISO 17020 and the Forensic Science Regulators Codes of Practice and Conduct.


The successful applicant will be providing a service which is consistent and fit for purpose for internal and external stakeholders and meets their specific requirements, as such having an excellent working knowledge of quality standards is essential.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also necessary for the role, in addition to previous experience of influencing others to change their ways of working to include quality methods.



Proficiency in the use of digital forensic software and hardware would be beneficial alongside the knowledge of conducting forensic investigations on digital devices such as computers and mobile phones.
