Salary: SO 2 - £36,996 - £39,036

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Learning and Development Centre, Grangetown

 

Applications are invited for the post of IQA Assessor - Crime, within People and Development based at the Learning and Development Centre, Grangetown.

 

The successful applicant will be passionate about providing high quality IQA support to promote varied programmes of training delivery, which incorporates integrated pathways for learning, training, coaching and assessment. 

 

In post you will work with assessors and Learning & Development to ensure planning and continuous improvements from quality assurance activities to promote performance and outcomes for learners.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop as applications will be welcomed from candidates who do not yet possess an IQA qualification but are willing to work towards this once in post.

 

It is essential for candidates to be PIP level 2 accredited (or previously held within the past 3 years), alongside a good working knowledge of crime investigation.

 

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their abilities to manage an assessment programme, provide coaching and mentoring, whilst setting, monitoring and meeting performance targets.
