Location: Redcar and Cleveland HQ, Kirkleatham, Redcar
Applications are invited for the post of Disclosure & Barring Clerk, working within the Directorate of Standards and Ethics, based at Kirkleatham, Redcar. This could be the role for you if you have a keen attention to detail, and enjoy working within a small but busy team. You will contribute to the smooth running of all applications which are requested for processing for the Disclosure and Barring Service, taking part in research and preparation of files to inform decision making. The successful applicant will be required to undertake all administrative tasks relating to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including creation, deletion, updating, maintaining and retrieval of relevant computer and manual record systems. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound educational background, the ability to record information accurately and concisely within IT systems, be able to work methodically and prioritise work demands and be able to communicate in a confident manner.
