Post: Head of Cleveland Unit for the Reduction of Violence (CURV)

Salary: Management Grade 4 - £62,793 - £73,260

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Cleveland Police Central HQ, Hemlington, Middlesbrough

 

As a result of securing Home Office funding to establish a Violence Reduction Unit, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the Cleveland Unit for the Reduction of Violence (CURV).

As the Head of CURV you will be at the forefront of building and driving forward a multi-agency approach to prevent, reduce and tackle the key drivers of serious violence across Cleveland.

 

You will be responsible for co-ordinating strategic partners, key stakeholders to ensure an evidence-based, collaborative and sustainable approach to violence reduction is delivered against local and national priorities.

As an inspiring, innovative and engaging leader with a passion for making communities safer, you will work closely with senior colleagues across the public, voluntary, private, and academic sectors across the local, regional and national landscape to effect system change.
