To be eligible to transfer to Cleveland Police you must have completed your probation and be currently serving in rank within a Home Office Force, British Transport Police or Police Service of Northern Ireland.  

Due to current circumstances and demand within our training department, we are currently unable to accept transferees from Ministry of Defence, Civil Nuclear Constabulary & Police Scotland. You will retain your:

• Previous service and current levels of pay (excluding force specific benefits i.e. London Weighting)
• Annual leave entitlement, as long as there is no break in service
• Your current pension arrangements

This vacancy will be reviewed on a regular basis with shortlisting and interviews taking place frequently. The next planned intake for transferees joining Cleveland Police is expected to be April 2023.
