Salary - PO4-10 (£33,597 to £42,492) Subject to Job Evaluation
Contract - Permanent.

Applications are invited for the post of Information Security Manager within Cleveland Police based at Hartlepool Police Headquarters.  

The Information Security Manager will be responsible for leading, implementing and managing the Cleveland Police Information Security Strategy, ensuring compliance with National Police Chiefs Council [NPCC] Information Systems Community Security Policy (CSP); plus compliance with other ISO legislation and good practice: ISO 27001:2013, and GDPR.  

The successful applicant shall be an experienced professional within the ISO sphere with a strong working knowledge of current Information Security threats and trends (police service plus wider spheres of influence). Demonstrable experience of dealing effectively with external agencies and established partnerships is essential.  

The successful applicant will play a key role in advising the force and executive officers on information security matters and central to maintaining a flexible and resilient approach to information security across the force, engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
