We have BIG PLANS for our Force Control Room (FCR) as we are seeking to appoint up to 41 STAFF. That’s right 41 STAFF!!

 

As a Force Contact Officer (FCO) you will enjoy a varied and exciting career. Our Force Contact Officer’s undertake a wide variety of activities from answering 101 and 999 calls to dispatching our frontline police officers via radio to conducting desktop enquiries and crime investigations.

 

As a Force Contact Officer you really will be working in the beating heart of Cleveland Police, and you‘ll be doing it all from within our in modern control room based in our award winning newly built Community Safety Hub in Hemlington. It’s a vibrant and exciting workplace where you’ll be supported within a department over 200 strong. You will be part of the vital link between the communities and neighbourhoods we serve and the 1200 Police Officers we deploy to keep them all safe.

 

We are looking to recruit Force Contact Officers for the 1st October 2019.

 

You will be paid a salary ranging from £18,486 to £22,275 with a potential of up to 20% shift allowance, you will also receive all the necessary training. Part-time/flexible shifts are available (but you would need to be available full time whilst we train you). Cleveland Police employees also receive an array of different benefits.

If you have recent experience in an emergency service contact handling environment (through working for an Ambulance Service, Fire Service, Police Service, or the Maritime and Coastguard Agency), or have significant experience of responding to emergency service incidents which have been referred from an emergency service contact centre e.g. role of Police Officer, Fire Fighter – we also want to hear from you…….
